The process of sending updates and announcements to participants is integrated into the Updates Tab within the Manage Your Hackathon. Here's an explanation of how this works:
Accessing the Updates Tab - To post updates or announcements, navigate to the updates tab in the .
Creating an Update or Announcement - Within the updates tab, you can create a new update or announcement by clicking on the "Post Update" button.
Posting the Update or Announcement - Compose the message that should convey the intended information, whether it's a reminder, changes made to the hackathon, resources, or any relevant news. Once the message is composed, post the update or announcement by clicking on the "Post" button and the update will be visible on the hackathon's main page under the updates section.
Email Notifications to Participants - Whenever an update is published/posted, call2innovate automatically generates an email containing the update's content. This email is sent to all registered participants in the hackathon.
