Submissions

This is where the hosts streamline the process of handling participant submissions. This section provides hosts with the essential tools to view all the necessary details of each participants submission and their connection with the judge.

Manage Hackathon Submissions Tab

The submission section of the manage your hackathon contains are as follows:

• Submissions - A complete list of all the participant's submission details, including the name, status, score, and assigned judge. You can also perform batch actions like sending bulk emails to the participants by clicking on the empty box next to the participants/teams' names. Numerous processes can be done on this page, each process will be explained below:

• Viewing submissions and details - Click on "View Submission" to view the submissions, this will have the full details of the answers provided by the participants to the submission questions.

(Remarks of the judge will also be viewed here if the submission has been checked otherwise, a button to remind the judge can be used to send an email reminder to the assigned judge.)

• Assigning the judge - To assign a judge to a submission, simply click on the assigned Judge and click on the list of available judges invited. This helps in tracking the distribution of evaluation tasks

• Submission Questions - The questions from the Submission form, hosts can review and edit all the questions required to answer during the submission process. This ensures all necessary information is being collected and that the questions align with the hackathon.

(Note: It is important to take note that you can edit the submission questions, but only if no participants have submitted them. This ensures that all participants are asked the same questions and prevents changes after participants have already begun working on their submissions.)

• Advancing to the next stage - An exclusive feature where you can select which teams to advance to the next stage of the hackathon. This serves as a way to implement elimination rounds and provides a more competitive and refined selection process, ensuring you focus on the best entries for in-depth evaluation and recognition.

• Exporting to CSV - A feature to export the participant's submission to a CSV file. This feature allows for easy data management and analysis and provides a convenient way to manage offline records and integration of data with other tools or platforms.
