Event Settings

This is where the primary control center for hosts to configure and manage the core elements of their hackathon. This area covers most of the information from the hackathon creation process.

(Note: To Edit or Update the hackathon details, click the "Edit Icon" next to the relevant information in the event settings. This feature allows for quick and easy modifications to ensure all event details are accurate and up-to-date.)

The Overview section serves as the central hub for managing essential hackathon details. The sections that can be updated/edited on this page are as follows:

  • Update Essentials - This is where you can edit everything that was entered in the Essential form. (ie. Hackathon Banner, Hackathon Description, Hackathon Type, Interest, etc.)

  • Updating the Timeline - This is where you can edit or update the hackathon's Timeline.

  • Updating the Judging Details - This is where you can edit or update the hackathon's Judging Details from the judging stage to inviting new judges)

The next section is the Challenges tab which serves as the section for defining problem statements or themes participants will address during the hackathon. This is where you can edit or update the hackathon's Challenges.

The next section is the Rules Section. This section outlines the official guidelines and regulations for the hackathon, this is where you can edit or update the rules entered on the Rules and Challenges Form.

The next section is the FAQs Section. This section provides answers to commonly asked questions participants may ask about the hackathon, this is where you can edit or update the rules entered on the Rules and Challenges Form.

The next section is the Updates. This is where hosts can post announcements and important information. Participants will also be checking this tab now and then to see if there are any updates about the hackathon. An email will also be sent to the participants whenever a new update has been posted.

For Premium Users, hosts can add an additional 3 custom tabs to the hackathon main page, offering enhanced functionality and content management. From webinars, and roadshows, to workshops.
