The judging details form allows hosts/organizers to define how the submissions will be evaluated. This includes the judging stages, the criteria for each stage, and the judges who will be assessing the submissions. This form provides a structured framework for judges and transparency in the evaluation of the participants.
To better explain what's inside the Judging details form, please refer to the list below.
Judging Period
(Note: This section won't be displayed on the hackathon page but will be displayed for the judges)
Judging Stage Name - The stage name of the evaluation process in the hackathon. It helps differentiate various stages where submissions are assessed.
Start of Judging Stage - Starting Date of the judging stage.
Last day of Judging Stage - End Date of the judging stage.
Judging Criteria - These are the specific aspects or qualities that submissions will be evaluated on. This helps guide judges in their assessment.
Criteria Name - The title given to a specific aspect of evaluation in the judging process
Criteria Description - A detailed explanation of what the criterion means, outlines what judges should look for when evaluating the submissions under this category, and helps submissions to be assessed fairly.
Criteria Scores - The numerical score used to rate each criterion, the scoring system helps quantify the judge's evaluation for easier computation.
(Note: Non-Premium hosts are allowed to set only one judging stage along with only one criterion. This single-stage judging means all evaluations are conducted in one go)

For Premium Users, hosts are allowed to define multiple judging stages with multiple criteria for each stage. This allows a more comprehensive evaluation process, with different stages focusing on various aspects of the participant's submissions. Our Premium plans can be viewed here.
Another Addition to Premium Users is the ability to customize the title "Judge" to their liking. This feature allows for greater alignment with the culture and theme of the hackathon.
(Note: The Alternative judge title will be displayed on the hackathon main page if you choose to display the details of the judges)
