As a judge, your role in evaluating submissions is important in determining the winners of the hackathon.
Follow these steps on how to check a submissions
To start checking submissions, log into your account, and then once you're on the judge dashboard, be sure you're in the "Active Events" tab.
You can now see the list of hackathons you were invited to judge. Once you have decided to check the submissions of a hackathon, click on that hackathon.
You will be directed to the hackathon's list of submissions by the participants assigned by the host/organizer to you and the current stage of the judging period is in. The list can be sorted according to your preferences (All, Graded, Not Yet Graded)
To start checking, browse through the list then click on the "view submission" button to view its detailed information. This will open a page containing the full details of the submission and the grading field for judges.
Once you are done reviewing the submission, there will be an input field for you to enter your score for each criterion. Below the scoring fields, there will be a text box for you to provide remarks.
When everything has been graded, click on the "Submit" button to finish grading the submission and you will be redirected back to the list of submissions for the current judging stage.
(Note: At times, the host/organizer will send reminders to assigned judges for unchecked submissions via email)
Start reading the submission answers and reviewing any attached documentation, the will be available to you to guide you in your evaluation process.
